Azure-HDInsight-ConnectToAmbari-Error
Once you have Got your Azure HDInsight Cluster up and running , the next step you would like to do is to login to your Ambari and view the Details on your Cluster. For this you need to go to your
Portal.azure.com 🡪 All Resources 🡪 ****-HDINsight-Cluster
Once you are inside your HDInsight Cluster and in the Overview Page , you can see the screen as below . In order to go to your Ambari , click on “Ambari Views” as below
Error Encountered from Microsoft Edge While Connecting to Ambari View from Microsoft Azure HDInsight Cluster
If you are connecting from Microsoft Edge you might get a browser error while connecting to Ambar View of HDInsight with Code as “Unauthorized” and Message as “Credentials were missing” –
{“Code”:”Unauthorized”,”Message”:”Credentials were missing.”,”CorrelationId”:”21a769a43890402……”,”ResponseTimestamp”:”2019-08-18T07:06:24…….”}
The fix for this issue, is open your portal.azure.com from either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome and you will get the username and Password prompt. This error comes probably because Microsoft Edge Browser takes the username and password from cache and it does not work.
On Opening from chrome and clicking on “Ambari Views” we get the below prompt . Enter the username – admin and the pwd- you had set while provisioning Azure HDInsight.
Once you have login to the Ambari Dashboard you can see the details of your cluster.
