When you want to Connect Tableau to Hortonworks Hadoop Hive and Driver is not installed , you will get the Sign in Button Disabled like Below :
Click on “Download and Install the Driver” . When you click on the link it opens the below page with the appropriate selection like Data Source selected as “Hortonworks Hadoop Hive ” , Operating System – “Windows” , Bit Version “64-bit” . Check them if it matches with your system and make changes if required.

Step 1 : Go To Hortonworks Website

Step 2: Under Hortonworks ODBC Driver for Apache Hive , Select the driver for your windows bit -version environment
Step 3 : Download and Install the Driver
Moment the Driver is installed in your System the Sign in Button in Tableau gets enabled . You can connect to the Hortonworks Hive System by filling in the details as below .
For me , i Had installed 2 Node Hortonworks Hadoop / Hive Cluster on Google Cluster with No Kerberos . So the property that needs to be provided was as below .
