Maps & Hierarchy in Microsoft Power BI

Now we will learn about Maps Visualization.

Expand Order Table:

We can see geographical field Country, State, and City in Table.

Now we will add ‘hierarchy’  for Country field. Select Country and right click, we will get an option for create hierarchy:

Select New Hierarchy. We will get a Country Hoerachy and country field in under this hierarchy.

Now drag and drop State and City fields in the Country hierarchy:

We have created an Country Hierarchy, we can rename this hierarchy name.

Drag Country hierarchy to the location:

Here in Map we have Country.

Click on Expand next level:

Here we can see results as Country and State

Click one more time for Expand next level:

Here we can see results as Country, State and City
